Background
The Office for National Statistics (ONS) is the UK's largest independent producer of official statistics and the recognised national statistical institute of the UK. It is responsible for collecting and publishing statistics related to the economy, population and society at national, regional and local levels and also conducts the census in England and Wales every ten years.
The Requirement
In 2015 ONS started planning a Census Transformation Programme, whose objective was to move to predominantly online collection of data for the next census in 2021. They were now looking to put in place a “world-class command and control function” to steer them through the design, test and implementation stages of the programme. In April 2017 ONS issued a tender under Crown Commerce Service’s ConsultancyOne Framework, RM 1502.
Our Success
Bramble Hub and P2 Consultants were successful in winning the tender and are already providing the required services to the Mobilisation and Planning phase of the programme.
