NHS SBS Cloud Solutions 2 Framework - SBS10256

The Cloud Solutions 2 framework was put out to tender by NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS) in May 2023, and went live in April 2024. Bramble Hub successfully bid on all four lots (see below for details of the lots).

The framework was created by NHS SBS to allow UK public sector organisations to access a wide range of cloud-related services, from design and consultancy through to full solutions. The framework was designed to include off-premises, IaaS, PaaS, and end-to-end cloud solutions.

Organisations across the NHS and wider public sector can procure cloud-related services and products via the Cloud Solutions 2 framework.

NHS SBS was established in 2004 by a joint venture between the UK Government and European tech specialist Sopra Steria, and is responsible for distributing billions of pounds of UK healthcare funding each year.

NHS SBS10256 Lots

There are four lots on the framework, and Bramble Hub can supply our partners’ services on all four. We have summarised each lot below.

NHS SBS10256 Lot 1 - Solution Design and Consultancy: This lot includes services such as audit of existing systems, readiness assessments and cloud architectural design.

NHS SBS10256 Lot 2 - Infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service, (PaaS) and software as a service (SaaS): This lot covers cloud services, hosting and support for hosted solutions.

NHS SBS10256 Lot 3 - Cloud support services: The third lot includes helpdesk services and software asset management.

NHS SBS10256 Lot 4 - End-to-end cloud solutions: The fourth lot covers more complex, end-to-end cloud-related solutions.
